St. Peter had a moment of weakness, where he denied Christ. It was foretold by Jesus that he would deny him three time before the rooster would crow. St. Peter promised that he would never deny him. Jesus was correct and he was denied.
We are all not unlike St. Peter. When we run into times of strife, trouble and fear we turn within ourselves as our minds become clouded with confusion. It is important that we not run away from this fear but to understand it and overcome it.
St. Peter at the very end of his life was crucified. But he asked those who were to place him on the cross to place him upside down. St. Peter said that he was not worthy of dying in the same manner as our savior.
Many people today deny Christ.... They think they have no need for Him. Only when something goes wrong then they look to God. BUT if someone asks them if they go to church they think it's cool to say I don't go there, I am not a Jesus freak...
Hmm, are you not denying Christ?
When 9/11 happened so many started to go to church, many started reading the Bible and people from all over rebuilt their relationship with our Lord.
Hmm, what happened now? Are you denying Him again?
Only you and our Lord know.......................
April 1st, is Palm Sunday..... Rebuild your relationship........ Easter Sunday, share in His glory.
God Bless you all.................

Forgive
Hello Everyone,
When someone that you know or someone that you love shows disrespect to you what do you do?
When someone that you know or someone that you love shows disrespect to you what do you do?
It is easy forgive them.
If the disrespect is daily what do you do?
Forgive them.
Matthew 18:21,22
21 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” 22 Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times. But understand what I am saying to you. You don't have to stand there and be disrespected. Walk away or you may say something back. You may love them but you should not have to be a punching bag. Because you have known them for many years or love them as family you may not want to be by them all the time. Take some time away from them. You don't have to be so close to still love them.
God Bless,
Pastor Ken

Common Courtesy
With all the technology at our fingers today we need to remember to show common courtesy to others.
*No loud talking when around people.
*There is NO need to talk on your cell phone in a doctor's office.
*If you are listening to music on your Ipod and those around you can hear it. TURN IT DOWN.
*Respect others with keeping your voice down. That is the polite thing to do.
*Bring a book or pick up a magazine at the doctor's office.
*Music is wonderful but remember very loud music can be annoying to other not only that but may damage your ears.
Things we should not do:
*Hands free use ONLY of cell phones while driving.
*NO Texting while driving.*No loud talking when around people.
*There is NO need to talk on your cell phone in a doctor's office.
*If you are listening to music on your Ipod and those around you can hear it. TURN IT DOWN.
Things to try:
*While driving don't talk on the cell phone and get to your place of destination safely.
*Stop texting and write a letter. You will be surprised on who words are spelled. Not BFF, LOL, ROFL.....*Respect others with keeping your voice down. That is the polite thing to do.
*Bring a book or pick up a magazine at the doctor's office.
*Music is wonderful but remember very loud music can be annoying to other not only that but may damage your ears.
In the world today many have a "It's all about me" mindset. That is the wrong way to think... Love, Respect, Help, others... The world would be so much better if everyone followed that. Say Please and Thank you...... Is that hard to do? The answer is so simple... "It is not hard at all."
Have a Blessed Day.......
Pastor Ken
