Good Day Everyone,

What I would like to talk you today is about "Speaking the words of faith." Our words that we speak have a power of there own. Whatever we say whether it be good or bad we are giving structure.  Many people go around saying negative things about themselves, their family, friends, their future. You hear them saying; This relationship will never work, I will never find a job, My health will never improve, Flu season is here I bet I will get it,  and many other things. What they don't realize is that they are foretelling what lies ahead of them. What they are really doing is opening the wrong doors with their words.
By speaking words that are negative we open the door to the enemy. We read in 1 Peter 5:8 - 8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
We need to close that door to the enemy and speak about faith, speak about love and life. Because we are truly blessed by the Lord. So if we want to sow the seed of faith and love and build out future we all need to stay with a positive heart. We will all run into times where we are down and negative thoughts will enter into our minds but we need to not give them any strength. When we say words that will bring us into the right path, we will see the gifts that our Lord has for us. Gifts of light and love.
God Bless,
Pastor Ken

Sowing the Seeds

Sowing the Seeds.....

*Whether you are unemployed
*Whether you have a health issue
*Whether you are having relationship problems
*Whether you want to build your relationship with God

Things just don't come to you. You need to start sowing the seeds and allow them to take root.

I heard about these two farmers our west that were in the middle of a drought. It had not rained for months. One farmer sat at the TV each day and watched the weather report. The second farmer went out and worked the fields each day. One day both farmers met at the general store and as they talk to each other the farmer that sat in from of the TV each day asked the other farmer; "Why do you go our each day and work on your field? Don't you see that there is no rain coming?"

The second farmer said; "Yes I know there has not been any rain for months but I have faith and when it does rain I will be ready. But your fields are not ready for the rain.... Will you be ready?"

This is important to understand.. Our Lord has many wonderful this for us but it requires us to take the first step of faith.

*Unemployed? Get up each morning and thank God for the new job to come as you look for work.

*Health issues? Get up in the morning and thank God for your improving health. As you eat right, and get into shape.

*Relationship problems? Get up and thank God for the person you love. Rebuild your relationship

*Building your relationship with God? Get up each morning and say thank you to God for all the wonderful things He has given you in life and the great things to come. Get up on Sundays and go find a church that you like to go visit God in his house. Many times I hear people say, "Sundays are my only day to sleep, What has God done for me, I don't like getting up for church, and the list goes on. For all the issues in life people can make excuses why they can't do things.

The reason I can't find work is, The reason I can't get better is... OK, change and say I can get better, I can find a great job, I can rebuild my relationship..... etc..

Lastly, I would like each of you to say right now, "Lord, I know you love me and have great things in store for me and my family in life. I thank you for everything you have done for me and allow me to become a better person in my life. I am blessed and loved by you Holy God. Amen....

Words

Hello my Brothers and Sisters,

In life we hit road blocks like; health issues, unemployment, relationship issues, and many other things that are troubling.  But if you wake up in the morning saying this is going to be a horrible day, I will never find a job, My marriage will never work, I will never get better, Why is God doing this to me, No one will ever love me, I am ugly, etc.

Our words carry a lot of weight and set our mindset to our path.

What we need to be saying is; Good morning you good man/woman, I am blessed, Lord I know there will be a new job coming to me soon, I love my wife/husband, I'm getting better and better in my health everyday, This will be a blessed and wonderful day, God I know you love me thank you for the gifts you have given me and thank you for blessing that I will have in my life.

Don't let the enemy place words into your mind and mouth, Don't let him drive you down... Our Lord places us in places to learn and many times to help others. When you feel that darkness of doom enter your mind, quickly close the door and feel God's love.

Have a Blessed Day,
Pastor Ken
