Sowing the Seeds.....
*Whether you are unemployed
*Whether you have a health issue
*Whether you are having relationship problems
*Whether you want to build your relationship with God
Things just don't come to you. You need to start sowing the seeds and allow them to take root.
I heard about these two farmers our west that were in the middle of a drought. It had not rained for months. One farmer sat at the TV each day and watched the weather report. The second farmer went out and worked the fields each day. One day both farmers met at the general store and as they talk to each other the farmer that sat in from of the TV each day asked the other farmer; "Why do you go our each day and work on your field? Don't you see that there is no rain coming?"
The second farmer said; "Yes I know there has not been any rain for months but I have faith and when it does rain I will be ready. But your fields are not ready for the rain.... Will you be ready?"
This is important to understand.. Our Lord has many wonderful this for us but it requires us to take the first step of faith.
*Unemployed? Get up each morning and thank God for the new job to come as you look for work.
*Health issues? Get up in the morning and thank God for your improving health. As you eat right, and get into shape.
*Relationship problems? Get up and thank God for the person you love. Rebuild your relationship
*Building your relationship with God? Get up each morning and say thank you to God for all the wonderful things He has given you in life and the great things to come. Get up on Sundays and go find a church that you like to go visit God in his house. Many times I hear people say, "Sundays are my only day to sleep, What has God done for me, I don't like getting up for church, and the list goes on. For all the issues in life people can make excuses why they can't do things.
The reason I can't find work is, The reason I can't get better is... OK, change and say I can get better, I can find a great job, I can rebuild my relationship..... etc..
Lastly, I would like each of you to say right now, "Lord, I know you love me and have great things in store for me and my family in life. I thank you for everything you have done for me and allow me to become a better person in my life. I am blessed and loved by you Holy God. Amen....
